Located adjacent to Ponce de Leon Hall, The Ponce Dining Hall is a breathtaking space known for its grand size, elegance, and historic beauty. Guests enter from the Rotunda by way of a stunning marble staircase with onyx risers into the magnificent rectangular hall, where rich oak pillars support a soaring dome and curved venidos flank each side. Adding to its charm, 200 lion-head light fixtures encircle the room, creating a truly unforgettable dining atmosphere.
As an all-you-care-to-eat dining facility, The Ponce Dining Hall offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with extended access to favorites like the salad bar, pizza station, deli station, desserts, and beverages throughout the day. The dining hall is committed to accommodating a variety of dietary needs, including lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance, and religious dietary restrictions. Sustainability is also at the heart of its mission, with ingredients that are sustainably and, whenever possible, locally sourced. By partnering with local produce distributors, The Ponce Dining Hall ensures fresh, never frozen produce, with approximately 25% of its produce currently grown locally.
Smoothie Station: Guests can grab a cup and prepare their own customized creations at the self-serve smoothie bar. Choices of juices, fruits, yogurts, and toppings are available. Open until 3:00 pm.
Salad bar: At over 20 items on the salad bar, students can choose from a variety of greens and toppings. In addition, guests can enjoy made from scratch soup.
Vegan: Are you following a vegan diet or looking for a healthier lifestyle? Our vegan station features daily specials that include an entree and side dishes including tofu, fresh vegetables, and whole grains. Vegan desserts are always available at this station.
The Ponce Grill: Features a daily special ranging anywhere from tots to corn dogs. Other grilled options available include angus beef burgers, grilled chicken breast, and crispy chicken sandwiches. Gluten free buns are available.
Deli: Check out our deli station for a wrap, sandwich, or sub. Featuring Boar’s Head products! Our made to order sandwiches allow you to customize your sandwich with fresh sliced meats and cheeses, and our panini press gives guests a hot sandwich option. The deli station features a weekly special. Gluten free wraps, breads, and desserts are available at the deli by request.
Destination: With a rotating menu throughout the week, there's something for everyone to enjoy—tacos, grain bowls, pasta, stir-fry, and much more!
Pizza: At the pizza station, cheese and pepperoni pizza are offered on a daily basis with a specialty pizza slice, stromboli or flatbread.
Dessert: The Ponce Dining Hall offers a self-serve dessert and ice cream station. The dessert station includes a variety of sweet treats. Our self-serve ice cream station offers 8 delicious flavors.
P1: Students can choose from 6 different types of cereal including granola. This station offers breads, bagels, and english muffins, equipped with a toaster. Fresh fruit, yogurt, and parfait desserts are also available.
Omelet (Breakfast Only): Our renowned omelet station operates during breakfast. Students customize their order with a selection of meats, cheeses, and fresh vegetables. Fresh pancakes and French toast are featured as rotating daily specials.
Beverages: The Ponce Dining Hall features a wide range of beverage options, including an infused water station, Coca-Cola products, Minute Maid juices, and Vitamin Water. Enjoy local milk, almond milk, and soy milk, along with hot tea, cold brew, flavored coffee syrups, and Kookaburra Coffee.
To-Go Meals: Students are welcome to take their food to-go with a one time sign out of a reusable to-go box and a meal swipe. The reusable to-go box will count as a meal-swipe. The reusable to-go box will count as an additional meal swipe if students choose to eat in The Ponce Dining Hall and take a meal to-go. When returning your used box, ask the cashier for either a new sanitized box or a to-go box ticket, then return your used to-go box to the dish return.
